Handmade Beaded Pendant

Beaded cross pendant, it is more beautiful than I thought. And it was easier than I thought to make.

  1. That is beauitful. I'm going try and have another go at making it the cross.

Would it be possible please for you to do another video tutorial of those boxes like the one above as I just can't seem to get them right. I get one part right but one part either ends up the same size or the flaps in the inside don't meet together. I've already made two but they are just not good enough.

    I don't know maybe it's just me.

  2. DFG,

    Thanks for your comment.

When you do the cover, you don't need to fold the 4 corner to the center, but instead, leave some space, so that it is a bit bigger than the base. I will take a pic to demonstrate if you not sure what I said :) Or, alternatively, you can always use a bigger square (2mm more) for the cover. Hope this helps.

  3. Sorry I'm not good on written instructions. My brian thinks in pictures more then words. If you don't mind yes please demostrate it.

By the way I found this link and thought you might be interested in it, it's a different way of doing the cross but only slightly. www.3dbeading.com/guest_pattern/cross/1.shtml

They have many other free patterns here but most of them are beyond me.

I've managed to do the make the beaded cross using plastic 6mm facets from mydaily bead.

I hope you don't mind me asking but what size or make of bugle beads did you use for your above cross?

I finally took some picture to show how to make the base and cover of the gift box fit:
